CHURCH HOSTS FUNDRAISER FOR FURNITURE BANK

The Missions Committee of First Baptist Church of Lewisburg recently held a fundraiser at the Lewisburg Original Italian Pizza restaurant. Proceeds were donated to the DIG Furniture Bank of Mifflinburg. In the photo Deacon of Missions Susan Tonzetich, center, presents the check to Emily Gorski, founder of DIG. At right is Filippo Mazzamuto, owner of the OIP restaurant. The DIG Furniture Bank redirects used furniture and household items to local families in need.
